- Account details such as name, email address, phone number, password or MPIN, and role (student, parent, teacher, or admin).
- Profile information including class, board, school, state, and academic preferences.
- Parent–student linking codes and related account connection data.
- A profile photograph, where you choose to upload one. This is optional and can be removed at any time.
- Camera access, used only to take a profile picture and to scan the linking code shown on another device. Linking codes are read on your device; the camera image is not uploaded or stored.
- Payment and billing details processed through our payment partner (we do not store full card or UPI credentials on our servers).
- Support messages, feedback, survey responses, and communications with our team.
Information collected automatically
- Device information, browser type, operating system, and app version.
- Log data such as IP address, access times, pages viewed, and feature usage.
- Learning activity including course progress, quiz attempts, exam results, assignments, and time spent on content.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and improve platform performance.

Bookvy is designed for students in Classes 1 to 10. Where required, account creation for minors should be completed by a parent, guardian, or authorized school representative.
We collect only the information necessary to deliver educational services. We do not knowingly sell personal information of children. Parents and guardians may request access to or correction of a linked child's account information by contacting us.
